Three former WWE stars appeared this week on Friday Night SmackDown.
WWE Hall Of Famer and former WCW President Eric Bischoff appeared in a backstage segment with Adam Pearce. Bischoff praised Pearce for his leadership on how he handled the situation between Sonya Deville and Naomi. Bischoff appeared last month in the WWE Raw wedding vow renewal segment that also featured The Miz, Maryse, and Edge.
WWE Hall Of Famer Jeff Jarrett appeared in a segment with Rick Boogs in a brief comedy segment where Boogs was asked to say his name in the trademark way he announces it. Jarrett lives in the Nashville area where SmackDown emanated from this week and he will wrestle Effy this Sunday at The Wrld on GCW on pay-per-view.
Summer Rae was introduced as a WWE legend and was shown briefly in the crowd during Natalya’s match with Aliyah. Rae will be part of the 30-woman Royal Rumble match in St. Louis on January 30.
