Three More Championship Matches Internally Listed For WWE Clash In Paris

The card for the upcoming WWE Clash in Paris premium live event is taking shape, as a new report has revealed three more championship matches that are planned for the show. The event is scheduled for Sunday, August 31, from the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Decines, France.

New Championship Matches For Clash In Paris

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported on the updated internal lineup for the international premium live event. The three new title matches listed for the show are:

  • Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
  • United States Championship: Solo Sikoa (c) vs. Sami Zayn
  • Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Nikki Bella

Clash In Paris Card

The feud between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre began on the SmackDown after SummerSlam, when McIntyre attacked the champion. Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn’s rivalry also kicked off on that same show, after Zayn officially moved to the blue brand to challenge for the one title he has never held.

On Monday Night Raw, the feud between Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and the returning Nikki Bella. Previously announced matches include John Cena vs. Logan Paul, Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed, and a World Heavyweight Championship fatal four-way match.
