Three traditional WWE Survivor Series matches proposed for next month
As announced on this week’s episode of Smackdown Live, Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon laid down a challenge for next month’s Survivor Series in Toronto. They proposed a tradition 5-on-5 Survivor Series match with 5 of Raw’s best male competitors against 5 of Smackdown’s best male competitors.
They also pitched a 5 vs. 5 tag team elimination match with the top teams from each brand competing against each other and a 5 vs. 5 match with the top 5 women from Raw competing against the top 5 women from Smackdown Live. The match is not official yet and it has to be accepted by Smackdown commissioner Stephanie McMahon and GM Mick Foley.
As previously noted, there has been talk of doing a Shield reunion spot at Survivor Series since all three men are babyfaces. The match has not been announced yet but Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg is expected to headline that show.
