The women’s division will get some more star power in the coming weeks.
Bayley and Asuka were two of the names that were rumored for the Women’s Royal Rumble show but they were never at the show.
Bayley, who has been out since last July with a torn ACL, has been hinting on social media that she is close to returning. Dave Meltzer reported that she is expected back before WrestleMania so expect to see a storyline set up for her soon.
Asuka, who also hasn’t wrestled since July due to injury, is also expected back before Mania. No word yet on what the plans are for her and Bayley for Mania.
Another name who has been off WWE TV for a while is Lacey Evans. She gave birth in October and she’s been training for her in-ring return and it was noted in the Observer that she “is likely back soon.”
