WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will air live on NBC and simulcast on Peacock on December 14th at 8 p.m. ET from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, N.Y. This marks the first NBC special WWE has had since 2008.
The top three matches for the show have been confirmed, including the likely main event of Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defending against Kevin Owens. This is a rematch from Bash in Berlin, where Rhodes went over.
Also on tap is World Heavyweight Champion Gunther defending against Finn Balor after Balor helped GUNTHER go over Damian Priest to retain his title at Survivor Series: WarGames. Finally, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan defends against IYO SKY after SKY won a battle royal to earn the title shot.
WrestleTix, which does a great job of tracking ticket sales for all pro wrestling events, reports the show has distributed 12,396 tickets with 1,645 tickets left. With over a week to go, it’s likely they will sell out, especially with the recent surge in ticket sales. Over the last week, the show has sold 1,328 tickets.
The last time WWE held a show at the venue was last year for a Saturday Night’s Main Event house show that drew 7,832 tickets.
