Last week, WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made a ruling regarding GUNTHER’s actions on Raw as the former WWE World Champion attacked Michael Cole and choked out Pat McAfee out of frustration, 48 hours after losing the World Title to Jey Uso at WrestleMania 41.
Cole voiced his concerns regarding their safety to Pearce after the attack. Pearce confirmed that GUNTHER has been fined an undisclosed amount and suspended indefinitely.
Cory Hays on X reported that Gunther requested time off, which is why he was written off. Now, fans know when to expect him back on television.
PWInsider.com reports that GUNTHER has been spotted in London several times over the last week. It was added that “the belief among those we spoke to in the company is his ‘suspension’ will be 2-3 weeks.”
