Former WWE star Tino Sabbatelli spoke to Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda to talk about his time in WWE, working with current stars, accusations from Chris Jericho that he leaked taped AEW results during the pandemic, Mandy Rose and more.
Sabbatelli gave his thoughts on Madcap Moss, who he teamed with in NXT:
“First of all, I’m so happy for him right now. He deserves what he’s getting. He’s an extremely hard working man. He’s an incredible athlete. At first, it was like two alpha bulls going at it. We didn’t get along from the whole alpha presence of it, but he taught me so much. He taught me the psychology of wrestling. He taught me how to slow down. Working with him really catapulted my skills in the ring. To watch him now, to be honest with you, I’m so happy. I’m one of his biggest fans because I know what kind of work he put in.”
Tino talking about his girlfriend, NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose:
“She’s amazing. She is one of the most humble, down to earth, caring, good-soul women. She is just an amazing person. She does a great job of playing her character, but that’s not Mandy Rose. That’s not who she is as a person. I’m extremely grateful and blessed. She makes me better in every single way. There are not enough good words I can say about her. She is an amazing woman, and I’m grateful.”
