Title match announced for WWE Super ShowDown

The first match has been announced for WWE’s next event, Super ShowDown.

As seen on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Tulsa, OK at the BOK Center on FOX, John Morrison and The Miz became the new #1 contenders to SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Miz and Morrison beat Lucha House Party, The Revival and Heavy Machinery in a Fatal 4 Way Match to earn the title shot. As a result, The New Day will make their next title defense as champions against Morrison and Miz at Super ShowDown.

WWE holds the Super ShowDown pay-per-view event on Thursday, February 27, 2020 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium that will air live on the WWE Network. This marks the first match thus far announced for WWE’s next event in the country.

With all of the reported issues with WWE’s previous event in Saudi Arabia last October, it will be interesting to see which stars decide not to travel for the show.
