WWE has pulled the United States Championship tournament final off the Royal Rumble pay-per-view show.
Instead, the match will take place on the 1/23 edition of Smackdown Live, just a few days before the Royal Rumble. I don’t know why they decided to make the switch but my guess is that whatever happens at the finals will lead to a match (perhaps, with Dolph Ziggler involved) at the Rumble PPV.
Tonight’s episode of Smackdown Live will feature the following semi-final matches:
– Mojo Rawley vs. Bobby Roode
– Xavier Woods vs. Jinder Mahal
