Titus O’Neil has filed a counter-suit against the cameraman who sued him back in 2015, David Anderson.
Anderson filed the lawsuit in 2015 after an incident that occurred on the WWE Network show “Swerved.” Paige pranked O’Neil by shocking him with an electro shock stick, and he kicked the camera out of Anderson’s hand in frustration. The kick allegedly injured Anderson’s hand and he sued for $15,000 in damages.
PWInsider now reports that O’Neil has filed a counter-suit against Anderson. He is also seeking $15,000 in damages. O’Neil’s suit accuses Anderson of conspiracy to commit battery, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and many more. The counter-suit was filed on June 19th.
An interesting part of O’Neil’s counter-suit is that he claims he “acted out of necessity to prevent being assaulted.” It was also noted that an electro shock stick wasn’t on the list of approved pranks given by then-WWE Vice President of Development, Brian Terwillinger. It was noted that the prank was “unbeknownst to WWE.”
