TNA Star Injured

In an unfortunate turn during the ongoing collaboration between WWE and TNA, a visiting talent has sustained a significant injury.

Fightful Select reports Elijah, known to WWE fans as Elias, suffered a torn triceps during this week’s episode of NXT. His appearance was part of the talent-sharing agreement that has seen stars cross between the two promotions.

The injury reportedly occurred when Elijah performed a top-rope maneuver. As he came down with double knees to his opponent’s chest, he used his arms to break the fall, resulting in the tear.

In a sign of the close working relationship between the companies, TNA’s Lead Ringside Physician was visiting the WWE Performance Center at the time of the incident and was able to assist the NXT medical team.

According to reports, Elijah has already undergone a successful surgery to repair the damaged triceps. There is currently no timetable for his return to the ring. We wish him a speedy recovery.
