TNA Wrestling Sets Attendance Record At Slammiversary: 7,623 At The UBS Arena In New York

TNA Wrestling has officially announced that the 2025 Slammiversary pay-per-view was a record-breaking event for the company. According to a press release issued tonight, the live event, held on Sunday, July 20, at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, set a new benchmark for attendance in the promotion’s 23-year history.

The crowd of 7,623 fans is now the largest ever for a TNA Wrestling show held in North America. The new record surpasses the company’s previous high mark, which was set over a decade ago in 2013. TNA announcer Tom Hannifan had the honor of making the historic announcement to the fans in attendance during the live broadcast of the show.

A “Milestone Moment” for TNA Wrestling

TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva commented on the monumental achievement in the official press release, highlighting the hard work and dedication that went into making the event a success. He pointed to the long-term planning that began when the venue was first announced as a key factor in the record-setting night.

“This company has worked tirelessly since last December when it was announced that Slammiversary would be held at the UBS Arena,” said TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva. “To see a record-setting crowd at the UBS Arena was a milestone moment for TNA Wrestling that no one will ever forget.”

A Resurgence in 2025

The record-breaking attendance is the latest and most significant indicator of the resurgence TNA Wrestling has experienced throughout 2025. The company has seen a major increase in buzz and fan interest since rebranding back to its original name and forging an unprecedented working relationship with WWE’s NXT brand at the beginning of the year.

That partnership was front and center at Slammiversary, which was headlined by an inter-promotional main event that saw NXT Superstar Trick Williams defend the TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana. The card also featured a historic “Winner Take All” match where NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne defeated Masha Slamovich to also capture the TNA Knockouts World Championship, becoming a double champion. The increased collaboration and star power from both promotions undoubtedly played a major role in driving ticket sales to a historic level.
