WrestlingNews.co has learned that Tony D’Angelo suffered some sort of injury during tonight’s NXT tapings. WWE taped two weeks of shows tonight.
There is conflicting information on the nature of the injury. One person tells WrestlingNews.co that he appeared to hit his head in the corner of the ring but another person tells us that it’s a knee injury.
D’Angelo’s match was stopped and the trainers tended to him. There is no word right now on the severity of the injury or how long he might be out of action. We send best wishes to him and we hope for a speedy recovery.
UPDATE: Another source states that the injury was to his knee.
