Tony Khan is still alleging that WWE is tampering with AEW stars who are still under contract with the promotion instead of waiting out for their deals to expire.
Before the 2022 All Out event, Khan held a talent meeting where he said Megha Parekh, Chief Legal Officer, sent an email to WWE’s Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan warning them not to tamper with AEW talent.
The AEW President later clarified in a series of Twitter posts that when WWE tampered with AEW talent contracts, the business became personal for him because it came at a time when his mother was fighting for her life. Khan stated that he had talent come to him about WWE contacting them about returning.
Not that I should be surprised, but the same WWE avatar accounts that spam me every day, no matter what I say or what it's about, now turning their wrath to Mom recovering from a near death experience, is why I straight hate these people to the bottom of my heart with all my soul https://t.co/9fkmUpKafo

While appearing on The Dan LeBatard Show, Khan stated he thinks talent contract tampering is still going on.
Khan said, “I don’t think that it has. It’s still happening. I will reserve all rights when it comes to that, but I don’t think that it’s stopped. I’ll leave it at that.”
