Another name has been confirmed for the Wrestle Dynasty event at the Tokyo Dome on January 5. Wrestlers from NJPW, AEW, Stardom, CMLL, and ROH will be featured.
It will take place on January 5, 2025, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. There will be a strong AEW presence on the show, as Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Ricochet and Yota Tsuji vs. Jack Perry have been confirmed. Kenny Omega makes his in-ring return against Gabe Kidd, while The Young Bucks previously stated they would be at the show.
AEW TBS Champion and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone has confirmed that she would be at the show. While speaking at the Full Gear post-event media scrum, she announced the news.
Mone stated, “If I am the TBS Champion and New Japan Strong Women’s Champion, you can expect me at Wrestle Dynasty in Japan at the Tokyo Dome. I’m going to talk to my CEO [points at Tony Khan]. We’ll have to plan that out.”
Mone retained the TBS Title over Kris Statlander at Full Gear.
