Top free agent appears to have reached a deal with WWE

Despite the denials, it looks like another former Impact Wrestling star is on his way to WWE.

Killer Kross denied having any talks with Triple H but Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the world going around on the independent scene is that Kross is not taking any dates after the next few weeks.

Kross also pulled out of a tour of Australia that is coming up in a couple of weeks, which would indicate that he is going to start up with WWE very soon. He also told MLW that he will not be taking any new dates with them. Whenever a wrestler starts pulling out of shows, it usually indicates that they are headed to WWE because AEW would let him finish up his dates if he had decided to sign with them.

Meltzer noted that Kross is set to be fast-tracked. It’s unclear if that means that he will be rushed to the main roster or if he will be pushed as a top star in NXT from the start.

Some fans believe this teaser from NXT could be related to Kross:

If not Cross, others think it’s related to The Velveteen Dream’s return. We’ll find out soon enough.
