A top star in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide may be on his way to WWE. According to a report from Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net, renowned luchador Psycho Clown will stop accepting independent bookings after August 2025.
The report notes that with the luchador wrapping up his current commitments and not taking any future dates beyond August, the belief among sources is that “he has signed a deal with WWE and will be reporting to the company once his obligations have been fulfilled.”
Psycho Clown has been a staple of AAA for over a decade, holding the AAA Latin American Championship and winning the main event mask vs. mask match at TriplemanÃa XXV against Dr. Wagner Jr., one of the biggest matches in the company’s history. Neither Psycho Clown nor WWE have officially commented on the report.
