Top MLW star departs, likely headed to WWE

MLW WWE

Former MLW Champion Shane Strickland will be leaving the company following the TV tapings take place next month in Miami, Florida.

WWE had shown interest in him before but they were not able to enter negotiations while he was still under contract with MLW.

The belief is that he will start with WWE in January. That is when they will announce the next group of talents that will be starting at the Performance Center and NXT. As noted earlier, it is believed that Trevor Lee, who just finished up with Impact Wrestling, is also headed to WWE.
