Top Raw star replaces Shinsuke Nakamura and faces Jinder Mahal at WWE live event in Vancouver + more WWE news

There was a last-minute change to the card at Saturday night’s live event in Vancouver, Canada. Shinsuke Nakamura was supposed to headline the show against WWE Champion Jinder Mahal but Raw Superstar Seth Rollins filled in. Apparently, Nakamura could not get into the country because of a visa issue and the decision to bring in Rollins was made just hours before the show.

Here are some other WWE news and notes:

– A top WWE star is set to return this week as he will be on the road with the Raw crew for their upcoming international tour. For more on that, click here.

– Daniel Bryan is dropping tons of hints on what he plans to do when his contract expires next year. Click here to read what Bryan said about Cody Rhodes and why he hopes Rhodes is still ROH World Champion in a year.

– WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne will be defending his title at Insane Championship Wrestling’s “Shug’s House Party 4” event on 7/29 in Glasgow. This is unique because he will be defending a WWE title on a show not being promoted by WWE. WWE has a working relationship with ICW.

Wolfgang will take on the winner of the Davey Blaze vs. Kenny Williams vs. Gabriel Kidd vs. BT Gunn 4-way match. Whoever comes out of that as the winner will then take on Dunne for the championship.
