Top TNA Star Appears At WWE NXT House Show

The stars of WWE NXT were in action for a live event in Venice, Florida, last night, August 9th. The show featured a surprise appearance from a TNA Wrestling star and a main event featuring the dominant faction, The Culling.

TNA World Champion Joe Hendry Appears In Venice

The most newsworthy moment of the night came during a promo segment with Brooks Jensen. The recently returned superstar was interrupted by the surprise arrival of former TNA World Champion Joe Hendry. Hendry, who has appeared on NXT television in the past, confronted Jensen before laying him out with a body slam.

This appearance is the latest in the ongoing crossover between WWE and TNA Wrestling. Hendry is one of several TNA stars to appear on WWE programming as part of the working relationship.

The Culling Stands Tall In The Main Event

In the main event of the evening, the team of Zaria, Hank Walker, and Tank Ledger took on the sinister faction, The Culling (Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, & Izzi Dame). The heel group was victorious after Zaria’s match against Izzi Dame ended in a disqualification, leading to the six-person tag.
