Social media can become a toxic place, and for that reason, more and more professional wrestling stars begin to either delete their accounts, or take a break every now and then.
Add WWE NXT star Tommaso Ciampa to the list. Although he appreciates the support fans showed him during his surgery and rehab, he has announced on Instagram that he will be taking a “hiatus” from social media for now. Here’s what he had to say:
“Time to block out the noise. I will be taking a hiatus from social media for the time being. Thank you all for your support during surgery and rehab, and for the incredible reception during my return and throughout the journey to Portland. #WeAreNXT“
Ciampa comes off a failed attempt to re-capture the NXT Championship from Adam Cole at WWE NXT TakeOver: Portland this past weekend.
