Johnny Gargano recently noted on Twitter that he got to do some behind-the-scenes work on some Florida NXT live events.
Dave Meltzer notes that Gargano has been out for the most part with a knee injury so that’s why he’s been doing the production work.
He is apparently okay now but there’s still no word on when he will return to the ring full time but he is still scheduled for his match with Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver: XXV in Bridgeport, CT.
Gargano’s last house show was on March 8 but he did work on the TakeOver show during WrestleMania weekend and two matches at the last TV tapings. During his last TV match, he teamed with Matt Riddle against Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly but Gargano did not do much because Riddle worked most of the match for his team.
The #1 killer of success is complacency.
Especially when it comes to this job.. there's just so many different sides and intricacies to it, you can always get better and learn something new.
