Based on reports from fans at the show in St. Paul, MN., it looks like one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions is injured. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder were supposed to wrestle TM61 but it was changed to a singles match with Shane Thorne taking on Dash Wilder and Dawson on the outside of the ring. He was walking around with a crutch and, while it is possible that it’s a work, it’s unlikely that they’d do an injury angle at a house show.
If the injury is serious then it’s a big blow to NXT because The Revival are one of the best acts in the company and they are in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They are also scheduled for the NXT Takeover show in Toronto so they will have to scramble and figure out what to do with the tag team titles.
