WWE sent out a message on Twitter today to share the impressive milestone that Adam Cole has reached as NXT Champion.
The top star on the NXT brand has now held the championship for 400 days. He set the record for being the longest-reigning champion in the history of the title a long time ago.
The previous record was held by Finn Balor at 292 days. Neville is in third with 287 days followed by Bo Dallas at 280 days and rounding out the top five is Tommaso Ciampa with 238 days. WWE sent out the following to tout the achievement.

A Winner Takes All Match between Cole and NXT North American Champion Keith Lee will take place on this Wednesday’s episode of NXT.
The outcome of the contest was leaked by NXT star Saurav Gurjar, who is part of the tag team Indus Sher, in a photo that he shared on social media. We won’t spoil it here, but WWE officials were reportedly furious about the match result being leaked. For more on that, click here.
