WWE might be planning on adding a new enforcer character to Monday Night Raw.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that there has been a big pitch for Jordan Omogbehin to be the bodyguard or enforcer for AJ Styles.
Back in October 2018, Omogbehin signed with WWE after attending the same recruitment class as Chelsea Green, Mia Yim, Humberto Carillo, Daniel Vidot, Damien Priest, and Matt Riddle.
The recruit, who is a former college basketball for the University of South Florida, and Morgan State University, is 7’3″ tall. Most fans will remember him from being portrayed as one of Akira Tozawa’s ninjas.
This was before WWE came up with the Raw Underground idea. As noted, plans to continue these segments have been canceled as Vince McMahon wasn’t a fan of them. Thus, this could explain why the pitch to put Omogbehin in another role was made.
After a short stint on SmackDown that started this past spring, Styles was sent to Monday Night RAW during the 2020 WWE Draft.
