WWE is loading up tonight’s episode of SmackDown as it serves the show’s premiere episode on the USA Network after moving there from FOX.
The company has Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defending against Solo Sikoa in a steel cage match to open the show. Following the bout, fans are expected to find out Rhodes’ opponent for the October 5th Bad Blood PLE.
Although not announced by WWE, Roman Reigns is being advertised for the show by the USA Network. He will likely get involved in the cage match to further the Bloodline storyline.
Also on tap are Kevin Owens & a mystery partner vs. A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller & Austin Theory) and Carmelo Hayes vs. Andrade. A top star from Raw will also be there.
PWInsider.com reports that World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER is planned for an appearance at SmackDown. However, it’s possible that he doesn’t appear on the show but works a dark match.
