Top WWE star donated $40,000 to Shad Gaspard’s family?

Former WWE star Shad Gaspard passed away at just 39-years-old after a tragic incident at Venice Beach while with his son.

Gaspard and his son were part of a group of swimmers who found themselves in deep water to the point where lifeguards had to rescue the swimmers. Gaspard was last seen when he told rescuers to take his son first before being taken away by a riptide.

In order to help his family out, a GoFundMe campaign was created with a $100,000 goal. It appears that John Cena may have donated a considerable amount of money to the campaign to help it reach its goal.

A  $40,000 donation from “CTC RIP” was made. This has caused some fans to speculate that the donation came from Cena as in 2008, Gaspard and his Cryme Tyme tag partner, JTG, were part of Cena’s feud with JBL.

There was an angle where the three stars vandalized JBL’s limo with Cena writing “CTC” or “Cryme Tyme Cenation” on the vehicle.

Cena also shared a photo of the limo on his Instagram account. If you would like to donate, you can do so at this link.
