Top WWE star expected to miss WrestleMania

WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy has a court date in Moore County Court in North Carolina and the date is for April 6, according to PWInsider. That just happens to be on the day after WrestleMania.

This would likely mean that Jeff will not be appearing at WrestleMania or any WWE shows until his legal issues are resolved. It also means that more time is being added to his contract as it was originally supposed to expire on March 1st on the same day as his brother Matt.

Jeff was arrested on 10/3/19 and the police report noted that his car was first seen driving erratically. Later, he was located in front of a liquor store and he was seen carrying a case of beer to his car. The police officer followed Jeff and he was seen “weaving badly in his lane,” according to the police report.

According to the police report, Jeff later admitted to having two shots of vodka and he was “uncooperative when asked for a breathalyzer or blood sample.” A judge signed off on orders to allow officers to take a blood sample.

In addition to his legal issues, Hardy has also been out of action due to a leg injury.
