Top WWE star has officially turned babyface

PWInsider is reporting that Brock Lesnar is officially considered a babyface as part of the SmackDown brand.

Lesnar confronted Roman Reigns at the end of WWE SummerSlam on Saturday but it appeared that he was still on the heel side after he attacked John Cena after the show went off the air.

PWI says that Lesnar is no longer a heel. This would be the first time he’s been slotted as a babyface since his first run in the company in the early 2000s. There have been times when he’s gotten babyface reactions over the last few years but internally, he was always considered a heel.

Lesnar is being advertised for tomorrow night’s episode of SmackDown where presumably he will kick off his feud with Reigns and his former advocate Paul Heyman.

Also, as previously noted, the new SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is now officially considered a heel and she will be on the show to kick off her feud with Bianca Belair.

If you are wondering why the SmackDown side of things seems so stacked with top names, you’re not the only one. The folks at the USA Network/NBCUniversal are reportedly not thrilled about SmackDown getting so much more top name talent than Raw. Click here for more on the story.
