A top WWE star is dealing with a bad shoulder injury and could be forced to take time off. Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Jeff Hardy may need to get surgery on his shoulder.
Hardy was scheduled to team with brother Matt Hardy at the WWE live event in Sacramento, CA on Friday night but the match was changed to Matt vs. Karl Anderson in singles match instead.
Jeff seemed to be in pain on Raw last week so this could have been a lingering issue that has gotten worse. There’s no word yet on when/if he will get surgery. The Hardys were not booked for the No Mercy pay-per-view and it doesn’t look like they are in the plans for the tag team title scene so this could be the right time for Jeff to get surgery.
Jeff is injured so it’s Matt Hardy in singles. #WWESacramento
