Top WWE star no longer advertised for next week’s Raw

The card is always subject to change, especially in WWE because ideas are pitched, approved, and changed at a moments notice when Vince McMahon decides to go in a different direction.

Ronda Rousey is scheduled to appear this Sunday as a “fan” at Extreme Rules for the Raw Women’s Championship match between Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax. She was also booked for Raw on the following night in Buffalo.

For some reason, when the local ad for next week’s show aired in Buffalo, NY, they were no longer advertising Rousey. She had been the featured attraction during the last few weeks but she was not mentioned last night.

Furthermore, she is not listed on the KeyBank Center website so something changed within the last few days. WWE usually makes sure to mention Rousey on ads because she helps sell tickets and next week’s Raw is not sold out.

The match being advertised locally for Buffalo is an Eight-Man Tag Match featuring Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley vs. Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens and Baron Corbin. That would likely be a dark match for the fans at the arena.

Next week’s show should be the official start for the hype for SummerSlam.
