Kevin Owens was seemingly injured at Sunday’s WWE house show from the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI, when he defeated Austin Theory in a singles match.
Owens came down from the turnbuckle and landed hard on his knee before he immediately clutched the knee as the referee checked on him. He then got back up, hit the Stunner and got the pin on Theory. Owens was helped to the backstage area by the referee while limping.
One fan on Redditt wrote, “Kevin Owens planted his right foot & seemed to have hurt his knee in a match tonight against Austin Theory. The match wrapped up quickly & he limped on his way to the back with help from the referee.”
As seen below, other fans that attended the show also noted that Owens may have suffered a potential injury. In an update, Owens has suffered a right knee injury.
#wwemadison was fun as always. I thought that was the best house show I've seen here. Hope @FightOwensFight is alright.

As the person who broke the Kevin Owens news, felt I should give a bit more information as to what happened at #WWEMadison:
• dropped from a turnbuckle and jammed his knee
• pounded the mat while clutching it and talking to a ref
• WAS able to get to his feet and hit stunner— Matt Kanter (@Matt_Kanter) November 14, 2022

Owens hasn’t appeared on WWE television since he and Johnny Gargano defeated Alpha Academy on the September 26 edition of WWE Raw, although he has continued to work live events.
We hope to have an update on Owens’ status and that it’s not a serious injury.
