WWE has made a lot of changes to its champions on both the main roster and in NXT in the wake of WrestleMania XL as NXT is introducing a new Women’s Title in the way of the North American Title while on the main roster, several championships have changed hands.
Tonight’s WWE NXT will feature the Spring Breakin’ theme with several big matches, including the main event of NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov defending against Trick Williams with the stipulation that if Williams loses, he leaves NXT. Williams is no longer being considered for a main roster call-up.
NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez defending against Lyra Valkyria & Tatum Paxley in a triple threat match, No Quarter Catch Crew’s Charlie Dempsey, Damon Kemp & Myles Borne vs. The Family’s Tony D’Angelo, Stacks & Luca Crusifino, Sol Ruca vs. Blair Davenport in a Beach Brawl, and Natalya & Lola Vice contract signing will also take place.
As previously reported earlier this month, Dragunov is considered a lock for the Draft.
The top NXT star recently reached a big milestone ahead of his next title defense, as he has reached over 200 days as champion. He currently sits at 206 days. Dragunov won the NXT Title from Carmelo Hayes at No Mercy.
