It’s worth noting that there is no SmackDown live event scheduled on Monday night so this frees them up to bring anyone to Raw. WWE has already announced that Daniel Bryan will be on the show and more SmackDown stars are expected to appear.
For Raw, WWE is hyping that Baron Corbin will pick his special referee for when he challenges Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship on Sunday. Also, they have announced a Five-Way match between Braun Strowman, The Miz, Bobby Lashley, Ricochet and Cesaro. That match will determine the number 1 contender for Samoa Joe’s United States Championship.
In addition to that, PWInsider is reporting that Bray Wyatt will be at Raw in Los Angeles on Monday night. This does not mean that he will be appearing in front of the live crowd but it is interesting that he is being flown out to Los Angeles. Wyatt has not made a live appearance on WWE television since last August.
It is also not clear if they have more stories to tell on the weekly Firefly Fun House segments.
On a related note, former WWE Superstar Lance Storm discussed the Firefly Fun House segments on Figure Four Daily with Bryan Alvarez and said that the segments are actually inside references that are meant to bury WWE. It’s unclear if Vince McMahon realizes what the inside references are. Click here for Storm’s explanation on what the references mean and how they tie into things that were said backstage many years ago.
