Injuries are a part of pro wrestling and they’re one of the least fun parts as well. But they can happen at any time no matter how big of a push a Superstar is set to receive. The Revival were top guys in NXT and when they jumped to the main roster fans of their old-school style couldn’t wait to watch them expertly cut the ring in half on Raw.
However, Shinsuke Nakamura’s foot had other plans as he broke Dash Wilder’s jaw during their NXT send-off tour. Yeah, injuries just don’t care. They also didn’t care when Scott Dawson was injured soon after Wilder was able to make it back to action after having his mouth in a cage and being forced to put his pizza in a blender to drink through a straw for months.
But The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports there could be good news on the way for everyone’s favorite Top Guys. Meltzer reports it looks like Scott Dawson will be returning by mid-December which is great news for a new year and another chance for a Monday Night Revival.
Hopefully, these two NXT standouts will remain healthy enough to keep winning over tons of fans with their “No Flips, Just Fists” approach.
On a related note, WWE is loading up Starrcade with former WCW names and Dash Wilder is set to take on a former WCW United States Champion. Click here for the updated Starrcade lineup.
