With the events that transpired on last night’s episode of SmackDown Live, WWE’s Tables Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view may already have been affected. The show will go down from the SAP Center in San Jose, California on December 16th. Initially, WWE was planning for Daniel Bryan and The Miz to continue their feud at the show.
A match between the two was being advertised. It made sense given the issues the pair have had with one another on screen for the past several years. However, on last night’s episode of SmackDown Live, Bryan turned heel and won the WWE Title from AJ Styles, after low blowing “The Phenomenal One” when the referee was knocked down.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reports that the match between Bryan and Miz at TLC is likely off, and Bryan vs. Styles in a gimmick match could serve in its place:
“The Miz and Daniel Bryan were scheduled for their blow-off in San Jose. I figure that’s out the window now, so I figure that’s gonna be – they got to do a gimmick match with AJ and Daniel Bryan for San Jose.”
