The latest name announced for this year’s 2019 WWE Hall Of Fame class is Torrie Wilson.
Wilson started in WCW and signed with WWE in March 2001. Her in-ring career ended in 2008 due to a back injury but she was brought back last year for the women’ Royal Rumble and the Evolution pay-per-view in October.
“This feels like a sweet closure,” Wilson told espnW. “Since I retired, so many people have asked me, ‘Do you feel bad you’ve never won a title?’ And I have always said no, because I felt like I got the value — even though it would have been nice [to win a title]. But being inducted into the Hall of Fame feels like a championship belt to me, because it really makes me feel appreciated.”
Wilson joins D-Generation X and The Honky Tonk Man on the list of names already announced. The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart and Jimmy Hart) and Taz are also rumored to be going in this year.
