Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match Set For WWE SmackDown Next Week

A massive traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match has been booked for next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, just 24 hours before Survivor Series: WarGames.

In a backstage segment on tonight’s show, Sami Zayn stood united with his assembled team: The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin), Rey Fenix, and Shinsuke Nakamura. Addressing the camera, Zayn declared that the group is “united against the MFTs,” the faction led by Solo Sikoa.

Zayn then confirmed that the rivalry will come to a head next week on SmackDown. He announced that his team will face The MFTs (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, and JC Mateo) in a “traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match”.

This match marks a rare occurrence of the classic elimination stipulation taking place on television rather than the Premium Live Event itself. It serves as the final battleground for Zayn and his allies before the Survivor Series event the following night.
