Triple H comments on relaunching WWE NXT UK in COVID-19 era

Triple H did an interview with the Metro in the UK to talk about the return of WWE NXT UK, which has been on hiatus from taping new content due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

WWE has already confirmed that new episodes of the weekly TV show would air starting on September 17th.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the NXT UK crew was brought together this week for both training and taping shows in an empty arena setting at the BT Sport studio.

According to Triple H, he thinks the BT Sport Studio is perfect for what they do.

“When you look at that studio, it’s perfect for what we do. But they are perfect for what we do. They have been a leader in changing the game in sport across all of Europe and, really, globally.”

“It’s an amazing facility. The intent is for us to be able to in there long term to be able to create this content, and I think if later down the line, we get to a place where fans can come in – obviously we’d be thrilled and excited.”

Triple H also talked about the #SpeakingOut movement rocking the brand with wrestlers being accused, fans of the product, and more. Check out the full interview here.
