Triple H Is Said To Be A Very Big Fan Of WWE Star

Oba Femi made his return to WWE TV on Saturday night as he was booked in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge to determine a new #1 contender for the NXT Championship at this year’s WWE Deadline Premium Live Event from The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Femi replaced Eddy Thorpe in the bout as Thrope had been attacked as part of an injury angle.

Femi had been off television since the Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event, where he lost to Tony D’Angelo. Fightful Select reported Saturday afternoon that Femi had been enjoying time off in his home country of Nigeria and was expected back on TV ‘sooner rather than later.’

The report noted, “Triple H is also said to be a very big fan of Femi.” Femi will get his title shot against NXT Champion Trick Williams on the New Year’s Evil special of NXT TV on 1/6.

Since signing with the company in 2021, Femi has been regularly used on TV and is a former North American Champion.
