Triple H makes first TV appearance since cardiac event

Triple H made his first television appearance in several months during a recent edition of NBC News where he talked about WWE’s new NIL (Next In Line) program that was launched late last year.  Triple H discussed this new avenue for WWE that allows athletes to earn money.

“To allow college students to sort of monetize and utilize their name, image, and likeness. It has opened up an avenue for us.” He added, “this allows them to have that open door to earn money while in college.”

This inaugural class includes 15 athletes from 13 universities in four different sports. Gable Steveson was the first to be signed up for the NIL program and will start training full-time for the company after he finishes up college.

In September, Triple H underwent a procedure for a cardiac event that was reportedly very serious. In late November, he was spotted with other WWE executives as they were touring the new WWE Headquarters building.
