WWE’s developmental system, NXT, which has essentially turned into a third brand for the company, has really thrived over the years. Triple H’s innovation to mold the top WWE stars of tomorrow has produced some of the Superstars wrestling fans see on WWE TV week after week. Those include Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Ember Moon, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and more.
Triple H has shown extreme promise in that, when Vince McMahon finally hands over the creative reigns to “The Game,” there will be little to fear. Recently, Triple H took part in a conference call in the UK to talk about several professional wrestling topics. One question the WWE COO was asked was whether or not Vince McMahon watches NXT. He responded by saying he’s not sure if Vince has ever watched a full episode, start to finish, of the program. He’s simply too busy:
“I don’t know that he’s ever even watched a full episode of NXT start to finish. He’s busy.”
With that being said, former WWE writer Tom Casiello took to Twitter and clarified:
“I know I shouldn’t even respond to this kind of garbage, but I’ve literally been in gorilla with Vince during an NXT show. This is completely false.”
