Triple H has addressed potentially holding an NXT TakeOver event in Saudi Arabia in the near future.
WWE started their deal with Saudi Arabia last year. The sports entertainment company signed a 10-year partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority to bring annual WWE events to Saudi Arabia in support of a new campaign, Saudi Vision 2030.
The company just held the Super ShowDown pay-per-view event in Jeddah this past Friday. According to Triple H, the goal is to find talent in the country and train them. Whether that leads to a TakeOver event being held remains to be seen.
“The goal is to be able to find talent here, recruit talent here, train talent, and to build something on the ground here. Whether that’s bringing a TakeOver here or that’s building a brand here will yet to be determined. I think how quickly we can find talent and train them.”
