Triple H returned and a Fatal-4 Way Elimination match for the WWE Universal Championship pitting Seth Rollins vs. Big Cass vs. Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns headlined this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Triple H hit the pedigree on Reigns at ringside to help Rollins eliminate Reigns. Triple H then rolled Owens into the ring and it looked like he was going to take out Owens but Hunter turned around and hit a pedigree to Rollins instead. That allowed Owens to get the pin.
Kevin Owens is the new WWE Universal Champion, thanks to Triple H. Stephanie McMahon looked upset at ringside and the announcers played it up like she had no idea that Triple H would be there tonight.
The show ended as Owens celebrated his win and the fans chanted “you deserve it.”
