Triple H returned to Monday Night Raw to address his upcoming match with The Undertaker, taking place on Saturday, October 6 from the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Austalia. The event will stream live on the WWE Network.
Triple H said that weekends like this (Takeover and SummerSlam) make him get the itch and Vince McMahon called him a couple of weeks ago and said that he would like him to wrestle at the show in Australia in front of 80,000 people against The Undertaker. At first, his answer was, “hell no” because he and Taker had the “End of an Era” match inside of Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania several years ago and the moment after the match along with Shawn Michaels was as real as it gets.
H said that the moment did something to them inside and right after that, the streak died, Shawn Michaels would disappear, and he himself would leave to put on his suit and “it would be over” and “the era had ended.” Hunter said “our era was something special” so that is why he called Vince and told him that he’s in for the show in Australia and he will take off the suit and he will lace up his boots to be The Game again.
Hunter says he’ll do it if The Undertaker will be The Phenom one more time and “the sound will be back” and “the feeling” and “the goosebumps” will be back because the era is back for one last time.
Also announced for the Super Show-Down, John Cena will take on Kevin Owens.
