This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Buffalo, New York at the KeyBank Center on FOX was a newsworthy show for various reasons.
It’s been well documented that WWE faced some major hurdles in putting together the show as the majority of the SmackDown roster were part of the WWE crew stuck in Saudi Arabia.
The crew was supposed to make it time for the show but severe delays made that not possible. WWE scrambled to put together a new script which led to several NXT stars being flown in for the show.
The end of the show saw NXT Superstars be represented by WWE Hall of Famers Triple H and Shawn Michaels where they started to build to the battle against RAW and SmackDown at Survivor Series.
After the show, Michaels and Triple H took to Twitter where they issued warnings to the main two brands - Raw and SmackDown.
Triple H: "Tonight we showed the world WE ARE NXT. #Raw and #Smackdown... YOUR move. You know where to find us... Every Wednesday night 8pm on @USA_Network."
Michaels: "Do we have your attention? #Raw #smackdown #WeAreNXT"
