Last month, Vince McMahon attended Dave Chappelle’s comedy show at the Premier Theater in Mashantucket, CT.
The WWE Chairman was seen with comedian/actor Donnell Rawlings backstage at the show. It was a rare non-WWE public appearance for McMahon.
It turns out that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were also there to see the comedian. “The Game” spoke about this during an interview with the New York Post.
Triple H started out by stating that they all find Chappelle entertaining and funny as they’re big fans. He noted it was a rare opportunity where Chappelle was going to be in town and they had some time where they weren’t working so they figured they’d go see him perform.
“He’s [Vince] a normal human being. The persona that people have placed upon him is funny, but he’s also very private, too. Often when he does do things, when he goes to a concert or he goes to things you don’t often see photos from it. In fact, we took pictures with a lot of people that night and that was the one photo that came out. I was kind of surprised myself.”
