During the post-SummerSlam show this past weekend, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque singled out Women’s World Champion Naomi for high praise, suggesting she could be considered for “most improved” despite her veteran status.
Praise For The Reigning Champion
While recapping the events of SummerSlam Night Two, Triple H took a moment to praise the champion’s recent performances. He stated that he feels Naomi has reached a new level in her career during her current run. “I think Naomi, to me, she might be one of those people where even though she’s been here for a long time, all of a sudden, most improved,” Levesque said.
Taking It To ‘Another Level’
He continued, speculating on what might have motivated her recent surge. “She has just come out of her shell, and for whatever reason, I don’t know if the stuff with Jade (Cargill), that whole situation but something motivated her to take it to another level and she is, and what a moment tonight with her dad,” he said.
With her successful SummerSlam title defense against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY behind her, Naomi’s next challenger has already been determined. She is scheduled to defend the Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer, the winner of the battle royal at the Evolution premium live event, at the upcoming Clash in Paris PLE on August 31.
