Trish Stratus showed up in this year’s WWE Royal Rumble match when she entered the bout at #25. The WWE Hall of Famer was already in town for the WWE/Fantastic meet-and-greet and signing session with fans in Indianapolis the day before the show.
Stratus has made surprise appearances in the Rumble in the past. Coming out of this appearance, fans wondered what was next for her.
Fightful Select reports that WWE sources said around the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere that Stratus had been discussed for upcoming appearances. When they followed up about that, they were told Stratus would sometimes make pitches and that she’s a constant piece of discussion for them.
The belief is that Stratus will be involved with WWE in some way and headed into the Elimination Chamber, as the show is in her hometown of Toronto. She had new merchandise for the 25-year anniversary of her debut.
