WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has wrestled her final match and it appears that it will be a retirement that will stay intact.
Charlotte Flair beat Stratus in a singles match at Sunday’s (August 11, 2019) WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena on the WWE Network.
Heading into the match, Stratus went on record in a post on social media and interviews that this would be her retirement match due to the circumstances that were created to be a great send-off.
After the match, stratus took to her official Twitter account where she wrote, “I’m going to need some time to process everything. So for now I’m just going to say – THANK YOU.”

Fellow WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley followed up by praising the match.
Foley wrote, “I had VERY high hopes for @trishstratuscom vs @MsCharlotteWWE at #SummerSlam. Last night, Trish & Charlotte SURPASSED those expectations! What a match…and what a way to say goodbye for Trish.”
